You're right, Pink Floyd came to the Olympic stadium. Roger Waters even said that the idea for the album The Wall was born out of something that happened in this show. It's difficult to go inside the stadium itself, unless you have tickets for an event that happens inside (soccer game, music show)--I used to go a lot every summer in the 80's for Expos games. And you're right again about the Paris look. Montreal was a french colony, then conquered by the british, so if you pay attention, you can see both old french architecture mixed with old british architecture, mixed again with modern glass & steel towers. My mom visits Silver Lake every summer. I went with her last time. We went to Mac Woods, visited the gift shops and visited the Chicken Shack and Tasty Creationz daily. Little Sable is beautiful. To my surprise I found a Mac Woods vintage mug at Goodwill in Middle Tennessee. I gave it to Mom and she loved it! We also visited Ludington. Beautiful downtown and lake area there. The people are so nice. I'll have to go to Ponderosa next time!

Thank you thank you for showing the inside of the windmill. I went for tulip festival a few years ago and never went inside because I was discouraged by people telling me it would be too hard for me. Now I see that maybe I could go at a time when crowds down.

I would have been exhausted trying to climb that. Hiking in the Smokys is one thing but in sand has to be more difficult.

I love Ponderosa's steaks! They are my favorite. They don't have Ponderosa where I live anymore. Seems very expensive, though.

I really enjoyed this video. I think the scooter ride was awesome! You are giving me some good ideas for travel to Michigan. I can't believe it's so hot! Stay hydrated and be careful walking in the sand you could twist an ankle. Dawn don't worry about resting that is very hard work walking up a steep sand dune for sure! Hope you get some cooler days.

The windmill made me remember playing miniature golf and having to hit the ball into the windmill while the blades were turning! Windmill cookies are my absolute favorite!!! Nice gift shop! What a neat place to visit! Is it open all year? Maybe Santa is there around Christmas time! I love that I can bring my dog! Thank you for that information! I'm enjoying the Michigan trip very much!

My dads family had a cottage on Silver Lake. They lived in Chicago and would drive up to the cottage and when I was 4 back in the 60s I got to go to the cottage and we stopped in Holland. There is a picture of my sister and I standing in some big wooden shoes beside a windmill. Ty for sharing this video 😊

My family drove up from Indiana Last spring during the tulip festival...beautiful 🌷. We visited Windmill Island...bought some tulips. They were beautiful this spring at our house. Must see during the festival Will and Dawn. Hope you make it back
